API Keys (BYOK)

SaaS customers bring their own OpenAI and ElevenLabs keys. The platform does not use .env keys as a fallback.

Where to Configure Them

Settings -> API keys (or the setup guide will take you there).

1. Enter the OpenAI API key (sk-...).
2. Enter the ElevenLabs API key.
3. Save - the UI shows only the masked value.
4. Sync voices (see Voices).

What Does Not Work Without Keys

• Lab (LLM / TTS)
• Phone calls
• Voice preview

Cost Tip

AI costs are billed to your provider account. In Voxo, monitor approximate spend in API Costs and the platform daily limit.
